hawwy 0
what power increse does a 6 branch give?
spindat45 0
I got a Hottuning manifold from Strictly Dubs http://www.strictlydubs.com/Contact.html a couple of years ago. Might be worth giving them a call and seeing what they can do. At the time, we got them for £150 each. The first link you put up looks almost identical to the Raceland/Hottuning one but difficult to tell the quality from a picture. i'd strongly recommend heat wrapping it. I used this wrap http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEAT-TREATED-EXHAUST-WRAP-50MM-X-20M-LONG-SST-/260721215467?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb43207eb soaking it in water before makes it a lot easier to do http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj201/spindat45/110920091931.jpg. At the very least, replace your front engine mount if it's old as excessive engine movement often results in the manifold cracking. The manifold gasket's that came with mine were thin so I got some from GSF or Eurocarparts. Hope some of this helps.Kevin

VR6-DUB 3
Also i have a milltek decat and cat back system fitted already does the manifold bolt straight on to the decat pipe?
spindat45 0
My cousin ordered a pack of the cable ties from ebay. Lots left over but they come in handy. It does take a while to get it wrapped properly but it's worth it. Try to overlap half the width of the wrap each time so it doesn't separate. I had an Ebay decat and Miltek exhaust which bolted straight to the 6 branch so I don't think you'll have any problems there.

Pat used up the 8 in no time when he wrapped mine http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj201/spindat45/110920091931.jpg. Depends how neat you want it I guess and if you wrap the pipes individuallyKevin

Antihero1981 8
stainless wire works just as good and most heat wraps come with it for free
paulbin 0
I have got one of the manifolds in the first link, it has a plate saying it's a toyosport make. I've compared it to pictures of raceland manifolds and they seem to be the same. It came with all good gaskets, adapters to fit the cat and spring bolts to put it all together. I was very pleased with the quality and haven't had any problems to far.
ryanmac 0
I used to run a solid front engine mount on my mk2 with the 4 branch manifold. If the 6 branch manifold is fitted do any companies produce a solid front engine mount for the vr6?

23345matt 0
Just bought myself a raceland 6 branch and decat. Just wondered if there will be any gain in fitting now as I still have a standard exhaust system as I want it to keep the car looking original. Car has 2.9 inlet mani and ram air filter already and 2.9 throttle body to
