VR6Pete 1,455 Posted May 25, 2011 Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 Sounds like a very quirky issue, hence the lack of response.I had a similar issue once, but it only happened when it was cold weather, if i pushed the button to close the window it would just come back down... it could possibly be a short / loose wire... id recommend stripping the door card out and having a look?do you have a full enclosure alarm or anything? cheerspete Link to post Share on other sites

richandhazel 0 Posted May 27, 2011 Report Share Posted May 27, 2011 Have you had a look at the wires in the rubber boot between the door and the pillar? I've had a similar problem and it was suggested that I look in there as they are prone to damage. If they are OK then I suspect, as already suggested, it will be door card off and have a look.I had to ditch using the remote key fob and open/close the doors the old fashioned way as I never did find the problem.
