Hi there!

According to my Corrado instruction manual:

The type plate and the vehicle identification number is located on th engine compartment bulk head (The bit at the back/top of the engine compartment when looking from the front)

The engine number on the 6 cylinder engine is visible when you look from the drivers side of the engine compartment between the air filter box and the top of the suspension strut. You should see a plate some where on the side of the engine block.

There should also be a vehicle data sticker some where in the boot which shows:

1 Production control number

2 Vehicle identification number

3 Model code number

4 Model explanation/engine output

5 Engine and gearbox code letters

6 Paint number/interior trim code

7 Optional extra number.

Hope this helps a bit.

Oh, you want it the hard way :P

It's stamped on a flat machined bit on the block at the offside end (pulley end) immediately below where the head meets the block.

I'm not sure how easy it is to see in situ as my engine is currently stripped and in the garage.

Good luck!!

Rich
