adam_christie 0
Hi all - Just had a look on the DT website and there are two options available - one for axle weights up to 890 Kg, and one for axle weights from 890 to 980 Kg.....Whassatallabout? (?)
HAMMER_VR6 0
I have orderedmy set now from Demon T. Bloke on phone said the 980kg is for the vr6 and the 890kgs is for the lighter gti models. probably slightly stronger springs to cope with the extra weight. Hopefully i will have them and get them fitted for next weekend ill let you know f there is a huge improvement or have i just thrown lots of money down the drain!!!!!! Vw_owner 1
there sick! not harsh a ride at all,buy them you wont be disapointed, had fun fitting these, i also ordered new bolts and nuts,
HAMMER_VR6 0
Couldn't agree more. Fitted my kit yesterday without any problems. Build quality is great, ride is comfortable and they perform much better on poor road surfaces compared to JOMs. Overall money well spent.VW_Owner have you put anything on the thread to protect it from seizing. On your picture doesnt look like you have. Some people swear by grease and insulation tape, but i use waxoyl.
Vw_owner 1
yea im realy pleased with them, thought they were gona be a real hard/harsh ride, but if anything they feel abit softer then my old springs, yea for protection i used a small amount of copper grease which i put on after the install so it wouldnt get to messy
adam_christie 0
Superb! I'll be ordering my Weitecs this weekend! (Unless there are some bargains to be had at BVF!)
richierich37 236
I'm just about to order a set of Weitec Coilovers for my Golf VR6, where is the best place to purchase from for price etc? Ebay they are £699!
Swivelonit 119
I ordered GAZ GHA's for my MK iv, not sure when they will be here as only ordered today. I found DT to be expensive an opted to buy from Larkspeed in stead, prices are good.
