yeah joms are mega hard aint they ..

ive run and my mate runs vmaxx . not tried weitec, but im sure they will be along the lines of vmaxx, fk , etc

konis can be hit and miss, and can also break springs if to hard.

eibach and gaz i like .

depends on budget

our non damping adjustable mk3 collies are 357 . they run very well on track and aint so hard that you get out with a back condition . more firm i say .

The poor quality roads around my area are begining to get on my t*ts.

I currently have some JOM coilovers which are abit firm. Will weitecs be any more comfortable. Anybody running them like to give me there opinion

was running weitecs when first had me vr which were awsome, got some jom`s and do not like one bit, lowered them as much as i cud without catching all speed humps and they just don`t feel safe, specialy at hight speed, when i have enough penny`s saved will be going back to weitecs i think,

I have orderedmy set now from Demon T. Bloke on phone said the 980kg is for the vr6 and the 890kgs is for the lighter gti models. probably slightly stronger springs to cope with the extra weight. Hopefully i will have them and get them fitted for next weekend ill let you know f there is a huge improvement or have i just thrown lots of money down the drain!!!!!!

Couldn't agree more. Fitted my kit yesterday without any problems. Build quality is great, ride is comfortable and they perform much better on poor road surfaces compared to JOMs. Overall money well spent.

VW_Owner have you put anything on the thread to protect it from seizing. On your picture doesnt look like you have. Some people swear by grease and insulation tape, but i use waxoyl.

yea im realy pleased with them, thought they were gona be a real hard/harsh ride, but if anything they feel abit softer then my old springs, yea for protection i used a small amount of copper grease which i put on after the install so it wouldnt get to messy :)backendwithshock.jpg
