gary.scales 0
Had my car for 4 years and then, one day whilst getting a new exhaust, I was was bored and decided to read the manual. Having always hated the intermittent wipers because they never are in tune with the rain, I then read the instructions and now I tell everyone who gets in my car how amazing they are!!! Sad I know..... If you dont know how they work, read the manual, amazing!!! so clever, so simple
spadam 7
Yea i was amazed you can set the time yourself. Really useful when its barely raing and only enough to have the wipers on once every so often.

b road blaster 0
Basically, press and hold the trip reset button, without letting go of the button turn the ignition to no 2 (just before it starts the car) then turn the ignition completely off then start the car (don't let go of the trip button till now) now the digital milometer will display "1".By pressing the trip button it will scroll through numbers 1-8, they all give various readings.. Number 7 displays electronic rev gauge

david.hanagan 0
Going back to the original post, how do you set the timer of the wipers?
tjsmudger 2
If I remember rightly, turn the intermediate wipers on, then turn off, count to your desired amount, say 10 seconds then turn inters on again. The gap between sweeps of the windscreen wipers should be 10 seconds! If I remember rightly that is!!!
VeedubVR 0
so after readiung tht, you can get a digi rev counter on one side and a digi fuel meter on the other side?
tjsmudger 2
I tried to do it but I am thick!!! The fuel gauge thingy ma jig!!
gary.scales 0
its simple, as b road says, turn the intermittent on then off straight away, count to your desired time (when the windscreen needs a wipe, so to say) and then turn on again. count to that same amount of time and they come on, genius!! if you still cant do it, I will drive up and show you, its great!!!! and you can tell all your friends about it too!! And then have fewer friends, probably.......... :-)
