parki 2
Got a strange problem, if gentle with throttle car pulls strong as you like but if you floor it it will pull hard to about 3.5k then its as if the brakes are put on. It will pull up to the limiter but not strongly. No sign of a missfire, had full service plugs filters etc cleaned maf and throttle body, no lights on dash and no codes on vag com (not full version though) any ideas welcome. 03 bde if it helps
bungy 2
Probably best if you monitor measuring blocks whilst driving to see where the fauly lies. Was the fault there before everything done that you've listed or has it only just started to do it after the work has been done?
parki 2
Hi bungy, was there before any work done just trying to be methodical but not getting very far also not massively clued up on vag com, trial and error but can look if i know what i'm looking for
bungy 2
If you link to vag-com and select measuring blocks you can select maf, throttle, ignition etc and drive the car to see if anything is playing up. One thought would be to check and see if you have a collapsed cat as someone on here had that recently with the same sort of symptoms.

parki 2
Hi Bungy, logged a run this after what do ya think,2nd gear 6300rpmtemp 95 cmaf 165.19g/slam1 and 2.....-3.1%100% throttle19.5 degrees btdcappreciate your comments
bungy 2
Your readings look healthy and "indicate" 204bhp. It could possibly have something to do with your dual runner inlet switching or still my favoured route would be the cat. Hard to tell without hearing, seeing and experiencing the fault. parki 2
Thanks for looking will look a bit deeper, may just be the way the power is delivered. Have spent the last 7 years with an remapped 1.8t mk4 and various 8v and 16v mk2's before that, hopefully its just me not used to the refinement.
