yakuza racer 16 Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 So gents, fitted the stock sub assembly after the 3.1 one went and now i have the oil light coming on as soon as i reach above 2400rpm or if i rev the motor up, never had this issue at all, replaced the two switches on the oil filter housing, but not with OEM spec ones, the motor is DEAD quiet, idles at 700rpm and pulls like a bat outta hell, but just this stupid oil buzzer issue!any other place i should check?next step is replacing the oil pump, not a big job but still one that'll cost a few pennies!all help will be appreciated! Personally I don't know what could be going wrong apart from loosing oil pressure. Is your oil pump operating correctly?
