All required part numbers for t-stat and crack pipe replacement?

Recommended Posts

My t-stat housing has started to leak so i need to replace that, but while im in there im gonna renew the whole lot so its a one shot everything done job.

And cos ive read so much that the plastic crack pipes break if you look at them im going to replace it with a metal one, Do C2 still do these?

theres plenty of guides around on how to do it but i can find specific part numbers for what i would need, i understand that this is the list i would need, off the vortex guide for a mk4, is this correct for a mk3 too?

Thermostat Housing

Thermostat Housing Seal

Thermostat

Thermostat Cover

ECU Temp sensor

AC Switch

2 sensor O-Rings

Crack Pipe (a2t2 billet pipe or stock)

Screw-style hose clamps (5 at 2 inch max dia, 1 at 1 inch max dia)

I doubt i would need the sensors, i was just going to re-use mine?

I also heard its a good idea to replace the 2 oil cooler hoses as a matter of course.

any help appreciated

cheers
