DommyVR6 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 i have just brought a 98 r highline with 90,000 and a full service history only worry is that the oil temp is averaging 90 degrees. my last vr6 was a 92 j reg and it never went much above 70 degrees. so is this just normal or what could be the problem? acf8181 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 you sure you aint confusing oil temp with water temp?either way 70 is too low i'd say.i've seen oil temp go up to 110 in summer, which is fine according to the bentley. i think you don't worry till it gets mega high.
