Dear vento_vr6_182bhp,

Second chance on Item number: 4528206252 I am the seller of the item 4528206252 and i have subscribed to the ebay second chance program . Second Chance offers can be sent to any of the non-winning bidders if the high bidder does not buy the item, if a seller has duplicate items, or the reserve price is not met in a Reserve Price Auction.Ebay Second Chance Offer is made to give a another opportunity to non-winning bidders to purchase the wanted items. Ebay asked me to email all my trustable bidders that expressed the interest of buying my product and ask them if they want to purchase it.Please reply to this email address: pelisor@aol.com and tell me your decision REMEMBER: * WHEN YOU REPLY COPY THE ITEM FORM THE TITLE EX 4528206252! * REPLY ONLY AT pelisor@aol.com

Hi,

I have actually bought this manifold and it is no longer for sale. I have it in my garage now.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY IN RESPONSE TO THIS EMAIL AS IT'S OBVIOUSLY A CON.

If I were you I'd report it to eBay.

The seller was ChrisP (of this forum and others) and he'll be able to confirm that it was sold.

'malcolm' from this forum has also had the email because he's PM'd me about it.

i've had an e-mail requesting me to re enter my credit card details via a link a couple of times now. is a con, though the e-mail is a perfect copy of a ebay e-mail, but the link comes up with a weird address.

you gotta be real careful for cons with e-mails claiming to be from ebay.

Email spoofing like this is rife on the Internet in general not just ebay, although ebay is a particular target 'cos so many people use it. Online Banking services are another favorite.

I take a policy of never using ebay links in emails I've been sent other than to just look at an item description.

If you start up your browser manually, go to the normal http://www.ebay.co.uk address and use the "My ebay" link, this is perfectly safe. If you have any GENUINE second-chance offers, queries or problems with your account, they will be displayed here.

Of course, if anyone wants to set up their spam filter to autoforward all their unwanted crap to pelisor@aol.com then go ahead!

I just have! LOL :-D :-D

Enjoy your manifold BTW, trackman!. I had one of those things in my last VR and it was absolutely stonkin'! Awesome low-down pull - you can whack it in 5th and drive it like an auto!!!
