malcolm 0
Anybody got ideas on getting the plastic trin on arches and bumpers back to black. Mine is all faded , have tried Simoniz Back to black which helped a bit , but some of the trim is still gray.

stu h 0
i used back to black years ago but it dont last five minutes. i use 'car plan black trim wax', its kinda like shoe polish (some people use that too!) just rub it in, leave to dry and buff it up. it works really well i removed all the badly faded black trim from my mk2 and it lasted about 3 months before i needed to do it again. can reccomend it, only about £4 from halfrauds
binliner 0
I used to use the tyre black stuff which worked well... you can also heat it up with a hot air gun
Peakz 0
I know this sounds completely weird but I heard smooth peanut butter is good for plastic trim.Wurth plastic trim dressing is the best thing I've used (but I may just try the peanut butter thang one day . . . and on the car!!). dusty_mauve 0
Kiwi 'Scuff Guard' works a treat, it comes in a squeezy bottle with a foam applicator, it's a black liquid...Just rub onto trim and allow to dry, making sure there's an even coverage. Just like you would on your shoes.Don't confuse it with the normal Kiwi 'liquid polish'
macas3 0
use a heat gun or a hairdryer to heat it up but not to close it pulls the pigment in the plastic out and is usually very effective
