5 speed to 6 cable differancs?

HI what are the differances between the 5 speed cables and the 6 speed cables

I am doing my Beetle over that had the VRT With std vr6 box but Got a 6speed R23 that is going to be fitted now

And the starter Differance?

Hi mate, sorry to hijack your thread. Does the R32 box fit the 2.8 12V VR6. I want to do a 6 speed conversion and I'm trying to find out what box I need.

If the R32 box does fit.... what code is the R32 box?

Yes I got a R32 Box that will be converted to 2WD and have a 2.8 12V VR6 and they bolt up to one another

It is just The Ring gear that I am battling with as that needs to be converted and a spacer behind the Throw out bearing

you need the 6 Speed Cables and a 6 Speed Starter as well for the Conversion

I am not sure what is my 6 speed box code as it was imported and the guys grind the codes away which is stupid but I think they Call it a 02M code

When you say, your converting it to 2wd....is that just a blanking plate over the rear drive output or is there more to it?
