beardyvr6 0 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 hi, any one give me some advice on what performance front pads i sould fit to my vr?, fitted at mo is grooved discs and ebc green but the pads in my opinion are crap only been on for few months.had same pads on my old mk4 turbo and they were crap den so not quite sure why bought them gain. but only driving i do is just road driving but you gota get alot of heat in em first for them to work and no good when there cold.anyone recommend another fast road pad which they have used? would rather stop than crash her.:-d Link to post Share on other sites
spindat45 0 Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 I went for Ferodo DS2500 pads with dimpled and grooved discs on mine. I can't fault them and I've never felt that they needed to be warmed up to work properly. My discs came as a package with red stuff pads which I sold and bought the Ferodos. They aren't the cheapest of brake pads but like you, I wanted to stop instead of crash. Well worth the money imo. Kevin Link to post Share on other sites
