michael5556 247
I am coming to the end of my mk2 vr6 project as most is done.It won't start. Lights come on clocks etc. One of the relays clicks. I think it's relay 109. Most of the other things are currently working but stating is the next main part.It is an obd1 but using the mk2 ignition barrel. Also using mk2 160 mph clocks. Mk3 fuel tank is being used too. If someone could help it would be much appreciated!

thegoth 5
yes, mk3 keys are coded to the ecu, there is an induction coil by the ignition barrel to read the key code.but that isn't you current problem. even with an uncoded key, the engine should start but won't run for longer than 2 or 3 secs.
