central locking

went to open my car this morning and drivers door didnt unlock all the others (5 door) and the boot opened perfectly, tried to unlock by pulling the door pin and interior handle but didnt work, have now got the knack of opening with key and getting door open before the windows lower so can get in. key locks it fine. when i lock and unlock with my bipper with drivers door shut the pump makes very little noise but if i have the door open then press my bipper it will operate the door lock, door pin moves up and down but the pump runs for about 20 seconds and my door hisses. i suspect the pump but wanted other opinions before i start shelling out cash and pulling stuff aprt,

Maybe theres a break in the vacuum pipe for the locks. try pulling the rubber back between the door shut and see if its on properly or kinked.

thanks for your reply. i have ended up replacing the pump which made things a bit better, it enabled me to unlock all the doors with the key which it didnt before so i went through the system and found a badly done repair on the hose(by a previous owner) in the rubber between the drivers door and i moved the odd bit of hose here and there into better positions every thing works fine know
