Humm 0
Right kind of a large area of open discussion here.... But basically it won't start just wondered if there's a few common problems for this and things I should check first.... It used to sometimes start and cut out straight away unless u gave it a bit of throttle for a few seconds then it would idle fine.... Dunno if this is anything to do with the problem now cheers guys
russj249 2
You need to specify a bit more mate, what's it doing? Is it cranking over? does it try to start? The more detail the easier to try and help you.
Humm 0
It does crank over mate yeah but totally wont start now... It's got fuel, getting no spark tho
russj249 2
Ok then, it is dizzy or coilpack? There are a few other things that can cause it not to spark, have you got an aftermarket alarm that kills the spark if immobilized? If it's coilpack the crank sensor is a main sensor for the cylinder firing, if it doesn't know when to fire, it won't fire, although could also be a coolant temperature sensor or something similar.Have you had diagnostics or VAG-COM put on it?
