cliveyp 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 I've received a replacement ECU for my VR now (care of Justins old Highline), and now face this problem....... the standard fit immobliser is stopping it from running! I have tried hanging Justins key from my keyring and starting it, but it just cuts out. I have also tried putting the chip from Justins key into mine (although i couldn't take mine out as it seems to be glued in) and this still doesn't work. Any ideas?? I'm told that the ECU can be re coded to suit my key, but unfortunately i can't take it anywhere with this ECU in as it won't run! &| Link to post Share on other sites
