Miss-Vw 2
I know I probably need to jack the car up for this one but anyway...the other week I noticed a sudden smell whilst driving that lasted about a minute! It was a distinct smell of burning plastic. Thought it was strange but seeing as the car was driving fine, no warning lights etc I put it down to an odd one-off. Today I drove about 6 miles into town and noticed again the same smell when I stepped out of the car. Driving back I opened up all of the air vents and put the fan on full to see if the smell was coming from the engine bay into the car, which it wasnt. Its definitley an external smell! I cant see any obvious leaks so Im guessing maybe a plastic bag has got caught and melted onto the exhaust?!Any other ideas of what it could be? Getting a bit worried. bungy 2
You could park with 2 wheels up on a kirb to get a smeaky look underneath from front and back.
