CALICO 130
You will need to remove the interior door panel this may mean removing the drivers seat which is not difficult.
mushtech 0
well i thought i may have to take interior door card off and drivers seat out. but is it possible as the door card is sealed round the edge by the door seal and is covered by the dash at the front. i dont want to damage door card as its leather and will be hard to track another one down. oldmandon 1
What was the result???? I had the same problem, still have, but managed to get the door open on the key. Basically unlock on the fob, lock on the key (turn it as if trying to close the windows) the unlock with key and you can hear it unlock. Open door...... It's ok as a temporary measure, and at least haven't go to climb over the bloody passenger seat!!!!!!
mushtech 0
well unfortually i delocked the car when it went in the paint shop. so cant try it with a key. anyway what causes this to happen? is it just dried up inside and sticks?
oldmandon 1
A few on here are saying air leaks on the drivers side either from the lock or the pump?? Haven't had mine checked yet, will do tat after Xmas!!!!
mushtech 0
i cant even get my door card off to check for leaks. but the pin still goes up and down with central locking. when i get time i am going to take it to bungy.
Gazbarber1982 3
sounds silly but have you got aftermarket door pins on?? I have wulfsburg pins on mine that look oh so pretty but when they're screwed right down, you can't get in or out of the car from either side. try unscrewing your door pins all the way and then screwing them on just a couple of turns. Lock and unlock the car from the front drivers door and see if it works. If it does, get yourself some threadlock from B&Q for around £1.99 n stick the pins in the required positions.Took me months to figure it out after fitting colour concept door cards!!! mushtech 0
it has got aftermarket door pins but they are loose fit and they have been on for a fair few years. I am going to try have a look this week as got the week off work. what have i got pull to undo the door. as the interior handle dont open in and the rod is still attached. as you can hear it when u pull it in the door. mushtech 0
i have finally got the driver door open hooray!!! it was something in the lock that had jammed. took the bloke a hour to get it open. and the main thing is there is no damage to door or door card!! plus done some electrical work on his range rover so didnt cost me nothing either !! smiles all round now to get ready for the billing meet!!
