p0u1 14 Posted November 7, 2011 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 if you have a gti with the 280mm or 288mm disk on the front you will not need to change your hubs, im fairly sure you don't but you will need to change your drive shafts as there different lengths, i done my vr6 swap into a golf cl, if i was to do it again i would make sure i have a dona car as you need to swap most things under the bonnet to get it to work as well as small thing you forget like the imobiliser ring and ecu the list gos on and cost more and more, you can pick up a banger or a write of for peanuts and put that engine to some use.
