Daverse 175
Hi all,To replace the subframe from the car, are the bolts stretch bolts? The bentley manual says to tighten them and to give them another 1/4 turn, which sounds like a stretch bolt, but they usually state when they are strech bolts or not? Any ideas will be great, thanks

Daverse 175
Alright cheers guys, vw will be better, as it is only 20 miles or so, compared to the 50 miles to TPS. There is a TPS in lincoln (20 miles away) but they wobt deal with me becuase they say I have to be a trading mechanic?? The one in newark has no issue with this. any ideas? p0u1 14
i had my left bolts fall out i don't know if it was me been stupid and not tightening them but that would make sense why they came loose if they were stretch bolts, i would change them i didnt but your driving a car that will get close to the 150 mark so i would replace them if your not sure, thankfully i was only going 30 but i would hate to think what might of happened if i was on a motorway.
