bat3man 0
Does it really make any difference using V-power fuel. What are the benifits?
Woodyman84 3
I think I can feel a difference using it. It's same sort of difference u get when it's cold weather. Little bit more urgency an throttle response. Imo
VR6Pete 1,455
Always been hit and miss for me with v-power, but I have used BP ultimate regularly with my last VR's
craggsy 91
Mine runs rubbish on vpower, and I've tried 4 or 5 tank fills on the trot. Mine is better on Tesco 99, but it was mapped on Tesco 99.Also Tesco is nearer and I get quite a few points lol

Daverse 175
Yeah, thats it, especially with turbo / mapped cars, it depends what it was mapped on. i suppose the factory map accounts for the various rons petrol
Lukey. 381
Yea it even says inside the fuel flap, use 95/98 RON Unleaded, the ECU adjusts the timing according to RON.
RBPE 198
The old argument from the oil companies is that the higher graded fuels have more/better cleaning additives and as such, is the justification behind the cost increase. I suppose it's a bit like adding water/meth and keeping your engine cleaner for longer. Think modern VW's pretty much state use 98 RON+ nowadays, everything helps to avoid detonation at the end of the day, I started sticking with it after importing some Japanese turbo cars that are mapped for 100.
