dan_a 1
I'm personally not a big fan of them, think they look a bit chav, but hey each to their own!The mk3 does suffer from stone chipping on the edge of the bonnet so I guess they do have practical use but no I wouldn't have one. I'd prefer to leave them to the boy racers in their Saxo's!
Ben Seabrook 4
am going to get one for mine as it's just been re-sprayed used to not be a fan but for driving to and from shows yes - leave them on all the time still a bit gay tbh. You just have to decide bonnet one or full on gimp mask style ?
plrdub 0
I thought they looked a tad chavvy myself, but the rest of my car is mint,so might aswell buy one to keep the bonnet tidy too, saves on a re-spray i suppose !!
chazvr 1
Have you thought about getting a clear wrap on the front end if it's just the protection your after? I know someone that got this done on his mk2 and it does the job very well. I wouldn't get a bonnet bra for any of my cars but if it looks good to you then why not? I would say looks more odd than chav but just my opinion
craggsy 91
I have one for my R32 which gets put on when going long distances. Also on any tracks as stones fly up at pace then

cbmotorsport 0
Make sure the bonnet is perfectly clean when you fit it, and remove it when it rains . It will slowly destroy paint otherwise. learnt my lesson on that!
