oldmandon 1
I went to open my cars drivers door at work, but it wouldn't open, so I had to go in through the passengers door. At home I tried locking and unlocking on the fob but to no success. After a while I thought I'd try the key to see if it opened, at first it wouldn't, but now it does??!!!! HOWEVER, if I lock the car on the fob, it WILL NOT open on the fob, I have to lock it on the key and then unlock it on the key to be able to open the door??!! Any Ideas?? Lukey. 381
could be a leaky air chamber on your door, they always seem to lock even if they cant unlock, probably on purpose, much rather it was stuck locked and secure than unlocked and not
jims13 6
yep that or the pump in the drivers side of the boot is failing .. that normally affects one door , no idea why . check for leaks, which tbh i cant see, unless the bodyshop disturbed the c/locking pump . ceck in the boot , behind rear seat , on the side panel , pump is about 12 inches long and black ..
