Dragon Dave 1
I'm looking into a 6 speed gearbox conversion for my mk3 VR6.So far using the search, I have found some info saying that I need an O2M gearbox from a 2.8 V6 4motion.On the VWVortex forum, I find a thread about the O2M gearbox, it says the one to get, is the DRP from a 1999-2000 2.8 4motion Golf/Bora.I'm a little confused, are both of these codes (O2M & DRP) for the same box?If I find a gearbox for a 2001 Golf/Bora 2.8 V6 4motion with the code DRP, is this the box I want? Or do I need to check if it is an O2M?Are there any other choice of 6 speed box's? Is this the best one to get?Any help would be great thanks,Dave

VIW28 29
02M is the family namel of box, DRP is the specific model. Fair bit of expense and work to do it right as you'll probably want to do away with the dual mass flywheel it's supposed to run with
