robvr6 0
not too sure, i think it's a £30 fine, i've never heard of anyone getting points, but if you were to have an accident your ins' would be viod, not good.
malcolm 0
I think you may get a month's leeway. Get one quick and if they ask say you were on your way to organise it when they stopped you and you missed your appointment. Hopefully it was not long out of date.
VRmonster 1
ha ha, my mot has just ran out and i have organised for the work to be carried out to fix the few little probs i have on tuesday, but i need the car all weekend as im picking my g/f up from lincoln and going paintballing with my mate somewhere near manchester. so hope i dont get pulled. lol. if i got a producer id just say i organised it for tuesday but messed up my dates cos it would only be out by 4 days, id just have to put my battering eyelids on show, lol. i think if you get an mot now, you may be able to get it backdated if your friends with the tester. do you use the same place all the time? MrBen 0
Get a new MOT and take it in with the producer. Chances are they will simply accept it rather than notice it started after you were stopped!
trackman 0
And if they clock it, tell them you couldn't find your old one, so you had it re-MOT'd. Oh and don't take your old certificate when you take it to be MOT'd cos they'll write the old number on the new certificate.
