Lukey. 381
My VR had lowered suspension when i bought it, and the springs were snapped at that, so I have no idea what drop I have on my coilovers, I just did it to where it looked good and still meant i could drive over bumps and get out of my drive lolSo if someone could give me some measurements from a standard VR from things like the top centre of the wheel arches and the front and rear edges of the sills id be grateful and could figure out what drop Im running cheers

Lukey. 381
Yea i would think it would be a bit wallowy, I've got 17s though which would compensate for some drop too, my sump is unharmed and never touches even those little middle of the road bumps, my wishbones are parallel to the floor, I had to raise it up a bit cos a junction on my road is quite steep and I kept ripping the front splitter off ad I don't even have the lower VR6 one! Lukey. 381
Cheers mate just went and measured mine, mine is 595mm on all arches and my front sill is 125mm and my rear is 140mm, so looks like mine is 55mm lowered :-)
Dragon Dave 1
A standard VR6 is 20mm lower than a standard golf mk3. So if you are 55mm lower than a standard VR6 then you will be 75mm lower than a standard Golf.I just thought I should point that out in case you (or anyone else) are going to buy springs that are a fixed drop. Lukey. 381
In which case, the thread that got me wondering about mine was is a 60mm drop ok daily, i say a 75mm drop is totally liveable with, i have no troubles with any kind of bumps or kerbs etc :-)
