kcw 1
Evening all,I was looking at putting a vr into a polo using the standard mk3 vr6 subframe, but the track is 120mm wide and the wheels I have from an old car that I wanted to use are ET0 instead compared to the vr6s original offset of 35 (?) so will have shed loads of poke.So here's the question, is there a narrower subframe that I could use? Or shorter wishbones that'll bolt up to the standard mk3 vr6 subframe?Any ideas?Let me knowKenny
ashmk3 0
I dont know what the difference is between polos and mk2 golfs but to stay narrow track on a mk2 you use the vr6 subframe and then mk2 wishbones hubs etc. to go widetrack you use vr6 everything. you may be able to use mk2 wish bones on your polo but im unsure on any of the fixings such as ball joints and drop links etc.
kcw 1
If I went mk2 wishbones hubs etc would that mean it'd be 4x100? Do you know the difference in width between wide track and standard mk2?
