cliveyp 0
Hmmm, could be worth the trip if theres a few heading down from this way. Could do an all day endurance race, 5 teams of 6 or something.........

VR6Rich 3
I know of one that is a bit further north in Wroughton Nr. Swindon. Ive been there a number of times and they have good karts and a decent indoor track, which looks surprisingly similar to the one at Wessex Raceway.Heres the link to their website.http://www.actiondrome.co.uk/map.htm
acf8181 0
thats a rip off for crappy indoor karting tbh!go to buckmore park - www.buckmore.co.uk - the karts are twice as fast (theire 'thunderkarts' are serious bits of kit), the track is awesome and out door. best thing to do is just do a practice session and go on lap times...fastest is the winner, simple as that. think that they're grand prix events are similar cost to the indoor track actually. Al J 0
Yeah I agree with Andrew. Buckmore is a lot of fun and the karts are fast. Although one of the slowest, i had a lot of fun!
acf8181 0
only criticism i have of buckmore is that the track is a bit chopped up, so in the wet you have loads of grip one sec then suddenly get mega out of shape on the straight! lolis a very techincally challenging track actually. badboyV6 4
Yeah the arrive and drive are definately the best- and then compare lap times after- Thats what i always do when i go Karting. Never been to Buckmore though but sounds good. Where is it?
acf8181 0
kent, just off the m25.i'd be up for a meet, but you'll have to wait till i have some cash.i havent been karting in 18 months, so will be very rusty....but lightweigh people (such as myself) can gain a huge advantage up the hill...though if its wet heavy people have more grip. VR6Mal 0
how about kings cross, if that more suitable for everyone to get to? at the raceway, we can go evenings after 10pm on weekdays, so a friday evening could come handy and relax on w/end, just a thought,
acf8181 0
bit of pain to get to tbh....i prefer to blast around the m25 to buckmore.
