Caddyslammed 16
I really don't know the answer to this, but in my jap past I have only ever used aeromotive or SX fpr's, purely as they are reliable... Last thing you want is to be running lean due at full boost to a cheap substandard fpr.... Whether these are good for a Vr application I don't know, hopefully someone will help you on this
Caddyslammed 16
And I can see no mention of FI from you, so again I don't know I'd this applies.
jims13 6
why would you do this on a n/a vr ??? if the ecu has been properly done and mapped on a 3bar frp , leave it alone, it will just overfuel and cost you money ..
craggsy 91
As Jim with the fpr. A n/a VR6 does not need a rising rate fpr as the normal 3 bar one is fineWith the abd thing it's purely for looks for me.Catch cans are all dependant on what look you want, but I do remember reading somewhere that the outlets need to be at least 19mm. Gazbarber1982 3
As craggsy said above, you need a 19mm inlet on your catch can from the oil breather on the rocker cover. Vince @ Stealth changed mine when he remapped for the charger. What year is your car?? Early vr's have a 4 bar fpr...
yakuza racer 16
mine is the first era 1993.done some research:the fpr is rising rate like malpassithe oil catch can is indeed 19mm and HKS sells oneABD big bore actually helps with sound , not too keen on power tho'i am doing all this to make my bay look good. Gazbarber1982 3
I cant really help too much then, im more about power n not lookin all that good...
jims13 6
if you have obd1 car then you may well have a 4bar fpr, if so leave it be . if its obd2 , which i very much doubt .. then ittl be a 3bar.. either way leave the standard ojne in situ , and have the car properly mapped to accomoate the mods .. yakuza racer 16
appreciate the feedback JIM, will take it and use it, but the ABD big bore does indeed look very nice!
