VR6Pete 1,455
I get the same box with img not found line. but if i click it the screen goes grayed and the picture will appear' date=' but at the top of the page, and I cant click left or right on the pages, just sits there until I close the picture. On Android[/quote']That is a bug with the web browser on Android, doesnt occour on good web browsers, and works fine on iPhone i OS 5, would recomend you use an alternative browser on your mobile as it doesnt support some of the newer web technologies used on this site How Dare You! haha, its true mate, there are alot of things missing from the 'webkit' used in andriod
VR6Pete 1,455
Pete' date=' why can I now see this pic you have posted. It doesn't, or should I say didn't make a difference to wether I was on 3G or wifi.[/quote']that is because it is hosted on this website, the example was an image hosted off this site, which i have absolute no control over i'm afraid, it could be that your connection has timed out to where the image hosted over 3G, the website doesnt handle images any different on wifi than 3G

Lukey. 381
Right ive just reloaded the page multiple times turning the wifi and 3G on and off on my iphone and it seems that this is the case' date=' when it is a wifi connection it will download the image just like on a computer, if i turn wifi off and it uses 3G it will give the no image and red writing, so maybe it is[/quote']as the picture your are referencing is an off-site image, then I would say that when your on 3G connetion over your network carrier, then looks like your provider cannot load the URL on your device....Who is your provider? ive loaded the page on O2 and the image opens ok for me....to prove that theory, ive uploaded a photo to this thread.... let me know if it loads OK over 3g...Pete Lol no it didn't load I got the same message, I'm on T-mobile, but as I say it's only on 3G and works fine on wifi so could be a 3G bandwidth thing that they have. VR6Pete 1,455
yup. looks like your provider is prefixing URL's with a / so that the image doesnt seem a valid link....very sneaky of them
