ashmk3 0
Anyone got any feedback on these, looking into getting a crank pulley so I can then raise the engine and beef up the sump. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=160739807949&cmd=VIDESC&index=11&nav=SEARCH&nid=66071757783
michael5556 247
I read somewhere that you should stay away from aftermarket crank pulleys. The rest are fine too replace and will still give a few horses. It's something to do with the wieght and balance of the original pulley and the aftermarket ones not being balanced and can end up doing a lot of damage to the engine. Then again I could be tottaly wrong but 95% sure.
ashmk3 0
This is what I have also read, however I have also read that the vr6 is internally balanced so this why I started this thread. I think tony ran these on his car both N/A and F/I.
oldmandon 1
Tony did run them on his car, and I bought them off him and now run them on my N/A VR6. There is no extra vibration from them, intact the engine spins up quicker than before due to the weight saving....... Oh and they are SHINY!!!!!!

ashmk3 0
Think I'll be investing, as I need to raise the engine but I am not denting a chassis leg. plus they are quite shiny, how hard was the old one to get off?

cabrioman 6
yes is true i had them on my vr when i had 390 bhp and no probs also had them on without the charger and still no probs the only thing you need to to is remove the little tab on the crank seal housing as it catches the pulley and wont let it turn ....
