malcolm 0
My car runs at between 60 and 70 degrees , goes up to 80 if pushing it. I would have thought it should be higher than this. Any ideas, what temp does your car run at.

Strange but since using a thicker oil in my VR 15W 40- the oil temperature has gone up. When i was using Castrol RS 0w 40 oil temp never went higher than 86!!!

silverline 0
mine sits at about 1/4 when driving 1/2 way when in traffic but no further. when i had a diagnostic tool plugged in the gauge was reading about 60'c but the diagnostic tool said 80'c odd! i dont expect the gauge to be particually accurate but i thought it would be more accurate than that?
