andypack 0 Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 MorningGot a 93 golf vr6 and my idle is very arratic its up and down from 200-800 fuel consumption is heavy, I have cleaned out the idle stabilastion valve, and had it on vag com and getting 2 faults One is idle stabilation fault code which says could include MAF, or fuel regulator, or throttle bodyand the other is Lambda Fault which also sayts could include Lambda , Maf , Fuel pump , regulator or injectorsHas anybody had this problem? would a good place to start by cleaning MAF and throttle body Link to post Share on other sites

yakuza racer 16 Posted March 22, 2012 Report Share Posted March 22, 2012 sorry to way off the path gents but how would one test a Lambda sensor?i have the same error codes as above:N80 evap - Lambdaknock sensor 2- got a new one and fitted.Also on the fuel pump, i too have a 93 and my fuel pump looks different to that of the others, but will a normal fuel pump work, i dont want to fork out the cash and it doesn't work.*sorry for the hijack Link to post Share on other sites
