i know this is not a vr it was only a 16v corrado but i thought a few of u folks would like to see these pics. I cant remember what happened i was knocked out for 1 1/2 days. and i had a scrape on my leg from where i think i caught the seatbelt as i was thrown out the car!!! they said if i had been wearing a seatbelt i wouldnt be here now!! but i really dont know how i got out this one alive. i didnt seem to have much luck with corrados. my first one got hit up the back then some chap hit me head on.they were seperate incidents so that got wrote off twice. so went and swopped this for a mk1 golf.then this bloke ran in the side of me on a roundabout. so they wrote it off, so i spent all the money getting it back on the road. it did look lovely before i wrapped it around a tree. this one was my fault all in under two years 4 accidents. 3 non 1 fault. but didnt claim as was only third party but broke the car and got over £2k just for all the parts and even put the engine in my mk1 golf gti.

These photos are of what the police sent to me as i cant remember what happened.i was shocked when he showed me the pics on his phone. so he sent them to me and managed to get them scanned let me know what you think!!!!

this happened in 2005. the funny thing is i remember putting my seatbelt on when i left work as i was on the way home from work. but yes i am very lucky. even walked past it when i went to collect it from the recovery place i just didnt reconise it.

Very luck with that crash!

Sometimes, I believe in fate, and on that odd day a seatbelt isn't worn and a crash happens, you servive because of it.

Seatbelts save lives. fate saved my life once not wearing one.

i had a few people say it may have been a cut and shut. but trust me it wasnt i had it checked out before. plus it was a very weird corrado it was a 1.8 16v but had a vr6 fuel tank and pump and boot floor was higher. It had abs,vr6 bonnet and late leather interior. was different to my other 2 16v corrados i owned previous. i know that some parts may have been changed ie bonnet and late interior but the fuel tank and abs were def factory.

i got told that it was the weight of the alloys in the back that make it split in half as i hit the tree level with drivers seat. i am one lucky man!!! i will try and find a pic of before the accident.

it would of been nice to know if i was speeding!! but as i cant remember it will stay a mystery !! but must of been doing some speed to put it in half.
