Just checking this is the right fluid before i do a power steering fluid change G004000M2

also whats the best way of doing it?

yes its the only fluid VW do.

disconnect a hose and let it drain, then rotate the wheel from lock to lock over and over and it will pump more out.

Refilling is the same, pour some in to the fill line then rotate the wheel lock to lock again, top up repeat until the system is full then turn it on and do lock to lock again until it is fully bled

thanks dude , do i put the hose on after its drained?or do i let some bleed through then put it back on?

it wont matter that much you wont get all the old out but just as much as you can.

obviously reconnect the hose, i missed that out of the post lol

How much fluid is required to flush/re-fill the system?

1 litre bottle to fill it, so if you want to flush it too get 2 bottles

Best get some green stuff! Just noticed mine has got the pink stuff in. Hope it's not done any damage lol

mine run on pink stuff for 2 years (wheni got the car), but ive replaced the power steering fluid with the green stuff last month, no leaks or problems in the time ive owned it.
