kezwaldo 0 Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 does anyone know how too separate the gear knob from the gaiter .........theres a little metal ring underneath the knob that seems u have to change the whole thing (gaiter and knob) only wanna change the gear knob?? kezwaldo 0 Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 just separated gear knob from gaiter ..........just need a good pull didnt have to take gaiter and plastic out at all just unscrewed knob and yanked (that sounds so gay lol) it just has a little plastic neck on it which holds it all together ........got nice gear knob but with out this neck piece the gaiter will just sag wont it ???? thanks again oldmandon u have an answer to everything ......... I’d be a very rich man if I did.No it’s just you ask questions I have experience of!! As for the hater falling down, I’m guessing your new gear knob has a neck, if you fold down the leather to make a hole about the same size as the neck on your gear knob, it will fit over it and keep it held up.
