scoobysmiff 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Share Posted March 23, 2005 Hi all,Anyone got any experience in fitting poly bushes? all i want to know really is was it worth the trouble (coz i dont for one minute imagine that its easy to do ) did you notice any improvement in the handling and ride, are they significantly better than normal rubber bushes? Peakz 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Share Posted March 24, 2005 Hiya m8, I've had poly bushes in a few of my cars and can honestly say that they're worth having.Handling's much better but it does cause a slight amount of harshness on rough roads.I'd say they are miles better than standard rubber bushes.Fitting can be a bugger though! acf8181 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Report Share Posted March 24, 2005 they do affect the ride quality on vr6's...i have powerflex on mine.to be honest i'd go for new o.e. ones if i did it again(easiest to just get new wishbones on front as they come with them fitted), though the rear o.e. ones need special tools.
