z engineering zr1 supercharger impeller

Recommended Posts

The insides of my zr2 are with ruf kompressoren at the minute in Germany. You can't get seals for them so he's machining mine to make his seals fit. Maybe they can help. Cheers I've emailed them see how I get on.

That's the fella I'm dealing with

Be warned though, they may take a while to get back to you. Sometimes I get a reply within a couple of days, others I dont get a reply at all! I'll let you know if I get my shaft housing back from them though lol. I've rebuilt mine because the bearings started to whine.

Yeh that's what I was bothered about all I need is a new impeller I'll get hearings no problem as they are skf bearings even if I could get the spec of the impeller ill price it up getting machined up.

No, thats from Brammer. I've rebuilt most of it myself with different bearings from another supplier. No where can supply one of the oil seals so rather than messing around, I've sent most of the charger (except snail) to Ruf and they're going to machine me some new bits to make their oil seals fit, make me a new pulley, check the internals over and check the oil seals seal properly. He's emailed me today to say there will be a bit of a delay because they have a few orders to get ready for Worthersee!

It's cost me £230 in bearings and £45 to ship it to Germany! Ruf told me they wouldn't rebuild it completely but agreed to work on it when I told them where I was upto and what I was stuck with.

Ok I've emailed them and have had no response I've got another impeller there but its warped I can get inducer and exducer sizes and shaft size from that one and get a new one machined but I'll struggle getting it balanced as it rotates fairly rapid .I'm in Jo rush tho going to put it down for this winter's project try and get all parts first then go from there.it just seems no one is interested in these.chargers
