Origami 0
Doing my head in this is Ile start the car And 80% of the time my power steering is very heavy gets stiffer when you have to change direction until I blip the throttle and proper noisy car feels down on power held back.then once in a blue moon I start it and the steering is faultless and car has a significant increase in powercould a worn pump really be dragging the engine down that much? filtee 0
Check youve enough fluid in and check the belt is still tight. If both are ok then i'd say your pump is knackered.
CALICO 130
PS Pump, alternator, aircon and tensioner run of the belt so best bet would be pop the belt of and see if there's resistance on any of those and report back.
