filtee 0
I replaced the black (left) pressure switch yesterday as the old one started leaking. The problem i have now is when you floor it slightly the light starts flashing and the buzzer goes off. Its fine when driving normal and if i switch it off then back on its fine, it's just when you floor it. Any ideas?
filtee 0
Could it be that its a non genuine one?
Lukey. 381
that's the high pressure switch so sounds like its throwing the light at too low of a pressure
filtee 0
I kind of figured that but wondered if there could be another reason other than it being non genuine. Thanks
Lukey. 381
Could just be faulty, or incorrect, did you check the specification of the replacement? 4 cylinder mk3 golf senders would fit the same but their trigger point would be lower
filtee 0
Sorted it. I got another off a vr at the breakers 2 mins away (to save forkin out anther 14 quid from dealers) and its fine now. I think the new one i got was wrong or faulty.
