acf8181 0
seeing as its about to go up for sale, thought i'd tidy up the receipts folder.vw receipts (mostly nuts and bolts as i'm so pedantic i replace any i remove! - but there is a set of gen leads in there as well) - £475.80on garage bills/ecp/gsf/etc - £2375.76and finally on uprated bits and bobs (so susp/recaros/VT mounts) - £1193.09so total of £4005.65...so inc buying the car i've spent £7505.65 (better than some i suppise)

acf8181 0
to be totally honest, i'm not that horrified. when i bought mine highlines were £8k....i'm happier with what i got than a standard highline thats for sure.i will be removing the modded parts, which are worth about £700 second hand anyway.some people have spent a lot more than me. VRmonster 1
must be the 2.0l T.. my mate has an MR2 with the ferrari kit kar stuff on, looks cool. still fake tho, hes just had the normal 2.0l converted to a twin T both from a supra and custom manifold etc, it goes well but i think its just novelty as hes only pulled 290 bhp. may as well had a single T put on and had it tuned. supposed to be in fast car next month but i dont think they have pictures of it yet.must admit though, i like the MR2 it is definately fun to drive and you get some fun arse out action too. should keep you on your toes andrew. Slim 0
I bought my car in October, and I've just worked out I've spent over £9000 in total including buying it and insuring it. That's a sore one.
binliner 0
to be fair ACF hasnt spent loads but then his hasnt been modified loads either... most of it as been on trying to keep the thing on the road, I dont blame him for cutting hs losses I probably would have done sooner but to get a better VR rather than an mr2! acf8181 0
well, i'm actually 100% confident that my vr6 will now be bomb proof. its pretty damn sorted now.if i hadn't taken it to that poor garage i'd have saved about £1500 at least (they screwed up a fair few things)
