bungy 2
Fitting is not too difficult and is it the belt or bolt that you need? For a belt go to Peter Coopers. Discount with Premium membership.
spadam 7
If you wana pop round can give you a hand as your local. Have fitted a new belt on mine and alternator. Not to difficult makes it easier if you remove the bumper and put the front end into the service position

spadam 7
Yea it is tight but once the front end is in service position and the power steering resouviour is moved its not to bad. Well mine wasnt and i assume bora will be same layout etc.

spadam 7
Not sure what the bumper is like on an r32 but takes me about 3mins on the 4mo. Had it off so many times trying to reallign my bonnet after i fitted alternator lol. I printed a guide of the mk4 owners club and followed that the first time.
bungy 2
I've just removed the whole front end on mine and it is very straight forward. Taking it to the service position is simple enough. It is quite tight down the left side though.
Nex 17
I changed my aux belt and pulley bearing ( to a UM one) about 2 weeks ago and it was pretty simple, 30 min job, I would say printing the belt routing off the web makes things easier Although l didnt remove bumper or lift it, just turned the wheels out full lock and could get to everything l needed, but yeah not a great deal of room lol
bungy 2
The alternator guide for the 4mo has the belt layout diagram on it.
