Adjusting Koni coilovers?

Recommended Posts

Swear filter is working overtime lol.

Thanks Craggsy, I'll have a go at this tomorrow.

I've heard tale that if it's not done that way, you have to remove the coilover, remove the spring, compress the shock and adjust it.

In which case, it'll be getting left alone until I literally have NOTHING better to do lol.

yo ucan use some pliers to twist the knobs on the top of them. liek Craggsy says if you aint got them there then they are either not Koni's or not damper adjustable. it is very obvious to see how they adjust so maybe yours arent?

Cheers Craggsy :)

I've checked the part number on the Koni website and it says "Front and rear dampers are externally adjustable".

This ( http://finder.koni.com/pdf/1150-5002-1-manual.pdf ) is the manual for my coilies, as you can see from the pics there are no knobs on the top of them, so I'm thinking that maybe the damping isn't adjustable and the way they've worded it on the website has confused me lol.
