bloody hell!!!

I dont often fill her up -usually just put a weeks worth at a time -£25 and that usually gets me a pityful 160/180 city miles. think its about £40 to fill it up from very empty (is that right?)

but if your hammering it all the time......

I get about 28mpg driving it conservatively on main roads, 19mpg giving it death on main roads and about 22mpg driving around town. I get about 150 miles out of a tank too, but I tend to be a bit enthusiastic with the throttle.

i would get about 280-320 miles from a tank. thats a bit every type of driving. flat out for the whoel tank it'd be down towards 150miles. i have run out of fuel once...as i entered the petrol station..they stutter forst, and go a few miles.

I drove the new one up from Southampton yesterday, at one point the gps was showing 130mph, I mentioned this is the Southampton in Germany right? ;) There were a few more 3 figure blasts and I did the 330 miles on one tank.

Never ever got less than 250 miles off a tank with my Golf, the Corrado does 400 but thats on a 70 litre tank. Like acf a fair mix of driving, some motorway some flat out lanes, some town. 150 is mental, have you discovered 3rd, 4th and 5th gear! :-)
