Woodyman84 3 Posted July 25, 2012 Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 ok all point an laugh :Spopped the bonnet today and it looks like i left the oil cap off the engine when topping it up (yes total idiot here )doesnt seem to have lost any oil, cap was off for about a days worth of driving.should i be worried, is it likely to have done any damage Link to post Share on other sites
thesurgeon 51 Posted July 25, 2012 Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 Did exactly the same thing myself a couple of months ago, oil all over the place, no damage done as I pulled up shortly after, you were lucky not to get the dreaded 'splashback'. Link to post Share on other sites
