rodney 17 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 Diesels and performace exhasuts & upgrades?Please could you explain to me the pro's & Con's of Diesel exhaust upgrades?Is it the same as Petrol or just a larger hole for black smoke?Are their benefits to tuning a Diesel? spadam 7 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 A well tuned turbo diesel will not omit black smoke. Aparentpy diesels run rich as standard which causes the smoke. So once tuned properly will not omit black smoke. A friend had a tuned Bmw 330d with around 400lb of torque and 300bhp was very quick and no black smoke. Link to post Share on other sites
