quick answers on gluing pcv into Inlet Elbow

Recommended Posts

Just trying to fix the leaks on the pipe that runs from the PCV to the Intake Elbow

i have at work

Hot glue Gun

Silicon Sealant (melting point 204C)

Araldite Epoxy Resin

Hot glue gun obv quickest but low melting point is bit worrying

Silicon i think would work fine but long drying time so id be worried about fumes getting in the engine

Araldite, quick drying time very rigid not sure about melting points etc.....

oh and i kinda need to fix it before 5.30 lol

Ah ok.. mine was leakih somehow between the sensor thing and the elbow itself. I think I know where you mean though.. on the elbow bit itself undearneath where the little spout is attached.

I did a fix on mine which worked, but you'd have tobe super careful doing it.

I used a heated up skewer to melt the plastic together where it had split. If you've ever welded before or brazed it was kind of similar, just melting both the spout bit and the elbow and getting them to fuse together. A little tricky but that's how I did mine.
