deanvhr6 0 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Hi guys iv just bought a mk3 golf vr6 obd1 i had to fit the steering column and igntion barral needed wiring up, that is all fine.... The car turns over and fires up straight away but then cuts out, not like its starved of fuel or air, just a full cut in power, battery is good, got fuel, wired the ignition ok (everything else works fine) just dies, there was a cheap alarm in the engine but that was already disconnected when i got it..... deanvhr6 0 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Ideal, yea i thought of imobilizer but then tried other things lol, il google them for there number, i read about the same thing on corrados and the imobilizer had to bypassed there the ecu, or something like that..
